Rhiannon’s career has been shaped by a desire to do cool, hard things. She studied Mechanical Engineering (with a major in Space Engineering) and Computer Science at the University of Sydney, and in 2018 made a very unconventional first trip to Germany — travelling to Bremen to represent Australia at the Space Generation Congress and International Astronautical Congress.

Alongside her studies she spent 2.5 years working at Microsoft across advisory, technical, and sales roles, before joining McKinsey & Company, where she developed a passion for strategy and making things happen in complex environments. After three years there — including four months working in Berlin — she followed her instinct to do something different and joined Cherry as Chief of Staff.

Outside of work, Rhiannon has run three marathons and can usually be found doing endurance sports, at live music gigs, or telling anyone who will listen that Brisbane is Australia’s best city - sometimes all three at the same time.
