Based in London, Patrick is an investor at Cherry. Originally from Ireland, he moved to England to study Economics at the University of Cambridge, where he co-founded a tutoring marketplace aimed at helping state-school students access selective academic institutions, like Oxford and Cambridge.

After graduating, he moved to Abu Dhabi to join hedge fund Waha Capital as an investment analyst, covering high-yield sovereign and corporate credit across emerging markets. He later returned to Europe and joined Seedcamp as a Visiting Analyst, where he evaluated pre-seed investments across Europe and deepened his interest in backing founders from inception. He subsequently joined Cherry to scout for Europe’s most ambitious founders building in B2B AI and deep tech.

In his free time, Patrick can be found watching Liverpool FC or hanging out in Battersea Park with friends.
