Luise Engel

From a tiny village in the heart of Germany to the Berlin startup scene, Luise's path has been driven by a love for finance and the stories behind the numbers.

She moved to Berlin to study Business Administration at Humboldt University of Berlin, completing both a Bachelor's and a Master's with a focus on Finance, and spent part of her Master's at ESCP Business School in Paris.Before Cherry, Luise was part of the finance team at FoodLabs, where a first look behind the scenes of venture capital quickly turned into something bigger: she simply couldn't get enough of it. Joining Cherry as a Finance Analyst was the natural next step, and a chance to get even closer to the founders building what comes next.

Outside of work, Luise is on a permanent mission to find Berlin's newest café, has strong opinions on all things interior design, and unwinds at the piano. She will happily give you a recommendation for your next coffee spot, whether you asked for one or not.
