Chris McKelvie

Christine joins Cherry as Talent Director, working alongside our portfolio's founders and CEOs - from seed through Series B and beyond - to help build the leadership teams and people foundations behind Europe's most ambitious companies.

She brings over a decade of talent leadership across venture-backed AI, biotech, and healthcare businesses. Most recently, she was Head of Talent at Fyxer, joining the company at 30 people and growing it to 120 at its height, with multiple US builds along the way. Before that, she was Talent Lead at Automata, scaling the team through their Series B, and led talent at Invisible Technologies, an AI-native consultancy - two of several pre-seed to Series B growth journeys where she's operated as a true 0-1 hire, standing up talent and people functions from scratch. She also founded her own consultancy, Brooklet, helping founders do the same.

A builder at heart, Christine is as comfortable designing an executive hiring process as she is shipping her own recruiting tools - she built Fyxer's referral sourcing and offer site herself, and brings that same instinct for practical, self-serve toolkits to Cherry's portfolio.

Fun fact: she's competed in two Hyrox London events, and still hasn't lost her ability to beat her siblings at tennis.
