Why Tatiana?

Tatiana started her career in crisis management before moving into commercial leadership roles at scale-up tech companies, learning first-hand what it actually takes to build under pressure. From there, she moved to the investing side, spending four years at Inventure backing pre-seed and seed companies across the Nordics, including investments in Lassie, before joining Kinnevik, where she led their early-stage strategy. She was also an early backer and sits on the board at Tandem Health, which recently raised a $100m Series B, and Encube.

Tatiana joins Sophia Bendz on the ground in Stockholm, giving Cherry more eyes, ears, and hands-on support across a region that's already home to portfolio companies like Legora (reshaping how law firms work) and Light (rethinking finance operations).

Outside of work, Tatiana likes to spend time with her family, go for long runs, travel the world, and read fiction books - including her all-time favorite book, A Little Life, by Hanya Yanagihara.

A big year for Cherry

Tatiana's arrival comes in a momentous run for the firm. In the last few months, four Cherry-backed companies, Dash0, Moss, Proxima Fusion, and The Exploration Company,  crossed billion-dollar valuations, with nearly $1bn raised across those rounds combined.
